Join Us at Dundee Dig: Underwood Ave. Plant Rescue

Saturday and Sunday, September 14 and 15, from 8:00am to noon

The business district streetscape, as many of you know, is being renovated with eco- and pollinator-friendly new perennial plantings, so the existing plant material must be removed to make room for the new which will be installed later in September. That means many plants need a new home. Neighbors are invited to come and dig up the plants they want – bring your own shovels, containers, and other appropriate garden tools and equipment. Volunteers will be available to answer your questions and show you where you can dig, and the few places where NOT to dig. We ask that you arrive early and meet at the Dundee clock. This is the beginning of an exciting transformation for our business district landscape.
