At the Merchants Association, we collaborated with local branding firm SecretPenguin and DeWitt Marketing and Consulting to research and build a framework for the Dundee Brand.
Over 18 months, we worked together to create an identity that celebrates our history and encourages people from all across Omaha to escape to this community in the heart of Omaha where everyone feels like a neighbor.
The new neighborhood logo is inspired by the famous Dundee clocktower, one of the most recognizable landmarks in the neighborhood.
Our neighborhood's colors reflect Dundee’s history as a distinguished place that’s welcoming and approachable, not stuffy and regal. This palette also pays homage to the schools that make Dundee special.
Just like the very walkable streets of Dundee, flowers add beauty and character to the identity. It wouldn’t be Dundee without the beloved flower baskets you see every spring and summer.
Every detail—down to the lettering—is tied to Dundee’s history. Art Nouveau-inspired type harkens back to the late 19th century when the neighborhood was officially founded.
With all this history, our neighborhood simply can’t be described in one word. Different settings can celebrate the myriad of historically unique qualities of Dundee.
