Join the fun and submit your Gingerbread House to Exist Green before November 30th. View all the creative creations on display in Dundee Merchant windows throughout the month of December then vote for your favorites on Historic Dundee's Facebook page.

2021 Lights on Dundee Gingerbread House Contest Official Rules

Create a Gingerbread creation out of any edible materials of your choosing.

•       75% of materials used must be edible. (They won’t be eaten but this is the concept of a Gingerbread House!)

•     No, it does not technically need to be a "house." Creativity is welcome.  

•       Deliver your gingerbread creation to Exist Green Saturday, November 27 or Tuesday, November 30th 11am-7pm. (closed Sunday and Monday)

Please clearly mark your name and age on your creation.

Adults are welcome!

All creations must be placed on a sturdy surface for ease of transport.

The public will view all gingerbread house entries in the windows of various Dundee merchants beginning at Lights on Dundee on December 2 and run throughout the month of December. 

Votes for Best Creation by Age Division will be taken on Historic Dundee's FB page. 

• Winners will be announced early January on Facebook. Prizes for 1st Place.

• Gingerbread Houses will NOT be returned. If you would like to pick it up, you may do so January 2nd.

Age Divisions and Display Areas:

Division 1: 1 to 4 years - AB's Gas Station

Division 2: 5 to 9 years - eCreamery and Hoppy Taco

Division 3: 10 to 14 years -Dundee Candle Co. and All Smiles Dentistry

Division 4: 15 to 17 years - Exist Green

Division 5: 18 and Up - Dundee Bank and Better Homes & Gardens
